Tomorrow my childhood friend is getting married! Let me rewind to some history for those who are new to my blog (post about us here)- there are 8 of us girls who have known each other since the tender age of 8 (or around there) and we’ve gone through elementary school, middle school (yikes those were hard years 😅), high school andddd even though we went to different colleges, we still made sure to do Secret Santa every Christmas and took turns visiting each others’ campus. Now post college, we don’t see each other that often, but we’re an intergal part of each other’s lives. Like this 8 is literally ride or die 👯‍♀️

Anyways the first one of us is getting married tomorrow and it’s so exciting…and so crazy to think! But before the grand celebration happens, the bridesmaids and the rest of the BFGs made sure to celebrate the bride with a weekend away in San Diego.

Note: I highly recommend renting an Airbnb house for a bachelorette because it’s just the best to all hang out in the living room together giggling and eating Tostitos ☺️ the first night was just waiting for people arrive and to just play catch-up.

The next day was an amazing breakfast spread! We love our carbs (psh wedding diet 😝)!!! Then we took to the beach and went kayaking and SUP. We are all about enjoying the San Diego sun to the fullest!

Afterwards we got cleaned up and headed to downtown North Park for tacos, beers and dancing! I admit I’m not generally a fan of going out (I’m usually in bed at 10 😬), but this was a special occasion (even if we all needed a nap the next day 😴). Also this bar had the best top 90s and 2000s…def my jam 😎

Anyways that wrapped up our quick and fun San Diego weekend! Here’s to more memories and celebration this weekend 🥂
