It’s crazy how another year has flown by and as we all know, 2021 has been ups and downs (like many years, but let’s be real, it’s been a LOT) with highlights of the vaccine (thank you science!) and seeing family and friends after a year of not. As I reflect on 2021, the biggest highlight and moment was my wedding day! For those who are new to my blog, my husband and I were a “covid couple” aka our original wedding was scheduled for May 2020 and as we all know the USA shut down March 2020 so our plans went askew (as did life for everyone!) We did end up legally getting married, but still held out hope for our dream wedding day…and because we couldn’t get any refunds on deposits so we needed the day to happen! Anyways, our beautiful wedding day did happen October 2021 and it was definitely a highlight of the year – the other highlight was the honeymoon, but more on that for another blog post 🙂

Currently, we are still patiently (or trying to be patient cuz tech they have more time per contract 😅) waiting for our professional wedding photos, but in the meantime since I’m extra AF, wanted photos for a Christmas card and love all photoshoots, we decided to take advantage of a holiday mini session from my friend’s recommended photographer, Aja of Bairly Media! Aja is the sweetest and totally understood my desire for more photos and the vibe I was going for. She was so quick at getting the shots and making sure my dress was in its full glory as well as great at posing us yet keeping it natural and fun!
