Hi, I’m Priscilla and I’m a Soul Cycle addict…phew…see that wasn’t too hard to say 😛

So if any of you follow my instagram (@love.lilla) or snapchat (@misspcilla) you’ll notice that I go to Soul Cycle quite a bit…and when I’m not in class, I’m rockin the gear and inviting folks to my next class to “get the full experience”.

Now what makes Soul Cycle so special you ask? You probably think that it’s just a dark room with spin bikes and loud music…and you would be correct 🙂 Soul is basically just a spin class with club music and a fit, inspirational instructor. Now does this make Soul Cycle worth the $30 (Cali class prices)?

In my opinion it is because it’s me time. Me time is when I’m not plugged into the world (my cell is usually permanently attached to my hand…), it’s a time where I don’t have to think about what’s happened in the past, what’s happening in the present and what may happen in the future. It’s just me, the bike and the music. And I honestly love it! As much as I love my family, friends and job, sometimes, a reprieve is needed to recharge and that is Soul Cycle to me. Also the inspiring instructors are really great with their words of affirmation (if you’re in LA, my fav is Chris C.)…and each class burns roughly 400-700 calories 🙂 seriously you will leave class drenched in sweat and it’s such an empowering feeling! 

Anyways, don’t take my word for it. I say try a class out 🙂 If Soul Cycle doesn’t do it for ya, I recommend finding something to be your me time. Life gets busy and we all need to recharge so find what works for you and feel free to share because I love trying out new workout places 🙂
